      Getting Started with Kairos AI for Zoom meetings: A Step-by-Step Guide

      This guide provides detailed instructions for installing, using, and removing the Kairos AI Zoom integration. Follow these steps to seamlessly incorporate Kairos AI into your Zoom workflow for automated meeting summaries and enhanced productivity.

      Installing the Kairos AI Zoom Integration

      Prerequisites:

      • Google Account

      • Zoom Account

        • A Business, Education, or Enterprise license.

        • Must be linked with your Google Account (same email address).


        To begin using Kairos AI, you must install the Kairos AI Chrome extension and set up the Zoom integration. Follow these steps:
      • Only Cloud recordings are supported.
      1. Install the Kairos AI Chrome Extension
        1. Add the Kairos AI Chrome extension to your Chrome browser.
      2. Sign In with Google Account and Accept Terms
        1. Open Kairos AI Chrome Extension
        2. Sign in using your Google account. 

        3. Review and agree to the Terms and Conditions of Kairos AI.
           
      3. There are 2 ways you can add Zoom Integration.
        1. Integrate with Zoom via Kairos AI chrome extension
          1. Open Chrome Browser
          2. Open Kairos AI Chrome Extension
          3. Click on Profile Avatar (top right)
          4. Click on Integrations
          1. Once on Integration Page click on Connect.

          2. Zoom OAuth will open in a new Tab. Review and Grant the permissions.


          3. Once approved a Thank You confirmation page will be shown.
          4. Done, Kairos AI Zoom app has been added to your Zoom Account.
        2. Add Kairos AI for Zoom meetings via Zoom Marketplace
          1. Navigate to the Zoom marketplace
          1. Review and Grant the required permissions.
          2. Upon successful integration, you will see a Thank You confirmation page.

             
      2. Verify Installation
        1. Log in to your Zoom account.
        2. On left pane, click on Advance > App Marketplace
        3. On Top right Click Manage > Added Apps or search for Kairos AI
        4. Confirm that Kairos AI appears in your Added Apps section.

      Using Kairos AI for Zoom meetings

      To use Kairos AI effectively, ensure the following prerequisites are met:
      1. A Zoom Business, Education, or Enterprise license.
      2. Cloud recording enabled on your Zoom account.
      3. Only cloud recordings are supported.

      Enabling Cloud Recording

      To enable cloud recording in Zoom:
      1. Log in to the Zoom Web App.
      2. In the left pane, click Account Management > Account Settings
      3. Navigate to the Recording & Transcript tab in the header menu.
      4. Under General, locate Cloud Recording and toggle it to Enabled.

      Once Kairos AI is integrated and cloud recording is enabled, Kairos AI will automatically receive a copy of your meeting transcripts and generate concise meeting summaries for all recorded meetings.

       

      Removing the Kairos AI Zoom Integration

      To deauthorize and remove the Kairos AI app from your Zoom account: 
      1. Log in to your Zoom account and navigate to the Zoom App Marketplace. 
      2. Click Manage > Added Apps or search for "Kairos AI." 
      3. Select the "Kairos AI" app. 
      4. Click Remove.
